ABOUT JOHN GALIANOS
Mr. John Galianos began his service with the SĂ»retĂ© du QuĂ©bec in 1968. The largest part of his career was spent as an investigator in the Major Crime Division, in Hull, and later, as Team Supervisor of the Crimes Against Persons Unit — Homicide and Armed Robbery — at the SĂ»retĂ© du QuĂ©bec Headquarters, in Montreal.
In 1976, Mr. Galianos was selected by a special committee of the Sûreté du Québec to be trained as a polygraph examiner at the Keeler Polygraph Institute, in Chicago. Mr. Galianos returned as a graduate and certified polygraph examiner, thereby creating a page in the history of the SQ by becoming its first polygraph examiner and initiating the Polygraph Division as it exists today.

Galianos Polygraphe Expert Inc.
In 1990, Mr. Galianos founded GALIANOS POLYGRAPHE EXPERT INC. Since that time, the company has been providing complete computerized polygraph services to government organizations, as well as to police, public and private security, the legal community, corporations and to private citizens.
Since becoming a polygraph examiner for the Sûreté du Québec in 1976, and up to the present time in the private sector, Mr. Galianos has administered more than 5,000 polygraph examinations in Canada, the United States and Europe.

He is also a consultant and lecturer on the above-mentioned subjects.
In 2008, Mr. Galianos was named Chairperson of the Committee for Education and Training of the Canadian Association of Police Polygraphists.
Expert Witness
Mr. Galianos is an expert witness recognized by the courts. He has testified before the Federal Court of Canada, the Superior Court of Quebec, the Court of Quebec, the Quebec Labour Court and the Roberge Commission of Enquiry.
Publications
Mr. Galianos has authored several articles on Polygraphy and on Interview and Interrogation. His works have been published over the years in publications dedicated to security and law enforcement.
In 2008, Mr. Galianos was named Associate Editor of the prestigious, international magazine POLYGRAPH by the American Polygraph Association.
Polygraph School Inspector
In 2001, Mr. Galianos was named Polygraph School Inspector by the American Polygraph Association, Educational Accreditation Committee.
